Out, out, damn spot!

Wednesday, August 24th, 2005

Last week I stayed at home almost every day. I was on leave, and because I forgot to pay my insurance the past month, I couldn’t afford to go back. So… ask me what programme is on Star World on Tuesday at 3pm and I can tell you what it is without rifling through the guide book. Hehe.

It was fun, although at times it did get a bit boring. The few times I did go out I ended up spending too much money, so I basically gave myself a “perintah berkurung” to avoid getting bankrupt.

Liz and Kaz gave me a book - OUT by Natsuo Kirino. It’s basically about butchers and perverts… :P It was good, and I read it in a record three days. That’s quite an achievement for me. :)
Next on the list: The Amy Tan book I borrowed from Rats like, three years ago? Heh. I think I’ll get her a couple of new books when I finally do return it…

Out

Bye.

lessons from a fat man

Sometimes, the best lines are found in the crappiest films:

Sgt. Welsh: If I should never find you in this life, let me feel the lack.

Japanese Soldier: Are you righteous? Kind? Does your confidence lie in this? Are you loved by all? Know that I was, too. Do you imagine your suffering will be any less because you loved goodness and truth?

and sometimes, in the best of shows:

Homer: Stupid risks are what make life worth living.

Homer: Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try.
